WHAT CAN RUBATO OBSERVE?
This post is just for throwing at people whenever I would like a little extra information about people.
Things he has canonly observed about people, mostly just by looking:
Height (measurement)
Heartrate
Quality of a person's footsteps
How a person breathes
Fingerprints
Habits/schedule
Habits/physical
The number of times someone has glanced at him
Specific centimeters someone's hair has grown in a month
Whether someone has had enough water
Whether someone has gained weight in the last few days
SUFFICE TO SAY PEOPLE DO NOT ACTUALLY NEED TO LIKE ANSWER ALL THESE SORTS OF QUESTIONS SPECIFICALLY it's really just to illustrate the insane sort of details he'll pick up if given the opportunity. Is there some small thing you think would be funny for him to notice and comment on? Please let me know.

height: 6'7". Angel Devil's stupid fucking tall!
heartrate: Genomes like him are weird immortal alien monkeys so maybe it's a little funny idk. Normal amount of chambers though. He's got that going for him.
footsteps: when he isn't gliding around with magic (which is often) he's in heeled boots, moves with stalking grace, and doesn't run. If he has to go fast he'll just take off from the ground....
Also it's obvious from how he moves has an invisible tail.
breathing: unless he's freaked out, Angel Devil's breathing is perfectly even. Like, you could set a timer on it. again.... Genomes are weird.
fingerprints: I am not yet enlightened enough to have fingerprint lore
Habits: perching on tall things, flitting about like a gliding fairy with magic instead of walking, making excuses to linger in earshot of Bluebell Barn when Vivace is playing, fussing over absolutely inconsequential bullshit with people (in particular his team mates, cerby), & doing minute adjustments to keep his appearance in as immaculate order as possible. he's also often on the roof with blood fiend.
he spends a lot of time trying to "teach"/boss around the red sheep, too, with middling success. No matter how hard he tries he cannot get them to say "Lord Avon." he definitely seems to be adverse to getting his hands dirty, will casually use magic for the littlest things with no apparent regard for potential blot, and despite his clear power avoids deadly conflict with the wildlife if he can.
Likes reading, but doesn't often settle down enough to.
times glanced: he puzzles over Rubato occasionally, but not terribly often compared to hiw much he looks at other people. Who knows, this could change! Angel Devil's a calculating type, but Rubato hasn't really stuck out as in need of evaluation other than being an obvious odd duck.
Specific fucking centimeters: it's. It's staying at the current length in fact. Probably magic??? Sometimes rubato night notice a stray red hair but those don't last.
Water & weight: IM SORRY RUBATO IM NOT ON YOUR LEVEL I think he hydrates though. Terrible for your skin if you don't

- he'll take off his gloves if he needs to for a messy task but otherwise he seems to have almost an aversion to showing bare skin; even if he takes off his coat and scarf he'll still be fully dressed with his shirt buttoned up to his throat, etc.
- he almost never startles visibly and it's a trained behavior, and he usually seems aware of his surroundings/eyes on him
- if someone is observing him up close he's probably observing them right back, so it's not unlikely he and rook have just had a stareoff at some point
- he likes to go to the rec room and peruse the books a lot when not otherwise busy, especially practical ones like gardening guides, crafts, etc. he carries notepads from red's shop and methodically takes notes.
- rook will probably not ALWAYS see him outdoors at night, but he'll see him often enough to pick up that he almost definitely doesn't sleep at all.

- jacked
- quiet, catlike stealth, has a habit of jumpscaring people
- will act surprised if someone jumpscares him. this is fake, he can't be in-person jumpscared unless someone can teleport or has a way to conceal all of sight, smell and sound. can be jumpscared by astral proj
- flew up into the sky to take a panorama of the whole pasture around dawn day 5. does not usually fly in public, but doesn't go out of his way to hide it. accidentally dodged Mizuki's punch day 3 (post-revival) by flying out of the way
- sleeps on Rose's roof, generally spends time there people watching, sometimes disappears into his barn for chores
- will usually match the physical speed/fighting ability of whoever he's with. speed/strength/durability capped but tries to hide it (badly), will sometimes move at speed cap if he wants to escape a scenario. has not shown real strength in public but general physical tasks are suspiciously easy for him
- hauled a gatordawg corpse from the forest back to the kitchens day 5 noon-ish, it was gliding on top of his External Transformation. i'm too lazy to describe the whole thing again so here
- used the same External Transformation to try and ward off the bone cage during day 2 ritual

Mafuyu is 162 cm (5'3"), tends to walk/breathe/move very quietly in general (like. "please do not notice me" quiet. its a little concerning!), and definitely has a very clear voice- though at first it had a warmer quality, she's been quieter and more... hollow since day 2. Her eyes tend to reflect her feelings very well, but even at their brightest it may feel notably faked to a keen observer. She has a lot of lung capacity and stamina as well, which impacts mostly her singing and athletics... which has VERY noticeably increased since her catgirlification, in ways similar to what Tsukasa will have now that he's also a cat.
Mafuyu is a night owl naturally, and though she stays in the barn she is generally up well past 1 am. But she's also an early riser. Take more naps, Mafuyu. I haven't noted it in a thread yet but she's been preparing to go into the forest for her first hunting trip! If hes seen her practicing she's *very* good with the bow naturally (canonically she's never missed until a very recent event) but it's clear she's never had to like. Kill, before.
She eats very healthily and tries to stay hydrated, but she notably does not seek things out because they taste good- and will often leave the best tasting things to others. This is because she has No sense of taste at all, so she just. Focuses on things that will keep her alive and well instead.
also she WAS pretty graceful but shes not yet used to her huge, stupidly fluffy tail which keeps catching her off guard so shes not As graceful anymore lol

Odin's height is 160cm and he's in a 'gangly awkward teenage' state. Most of the other questions can be answered with 'whatever's normal fora human'. He tends to stay closer to thistle most of the time but he does venture out sometimes. He has probably glanced at Rubato a few times but it's mostly to watch where people are, like he's making sure nobody gets the jump on him. The only time he really seems relaxed is when he's by himself in the thistle pasture. Another very specific detail about how he acts is that, unless he's doing something with his hands (holding something, opening a door, etc.) then his hands are almost always in his pockets.

Heartrate: Average? Probably goes up if flustered or scared.
Quality of a person's footsteps: Refined and somewhat light. He can't disguise them well, but he IS someone who dances all the time and grew up to walk and talk and dress a certain way, so!!
How a person breathes: Quietly! Unless overly stressed or completely wiped out. He tends to sigh a lot when frustrated or stressed too.
Fingerprints: When in doubt pinky out
Habits/schedule: Without any commitments that he must adhere to, he probably wakes up around 7. He also likely goes to bed around 10 unless he is overly restless. He likely eats breakfast with everyone (assuming they all do) and likes sharing meals together. And sometime in the afternoon, he practices the piano a little. Otherwise, he is trailing the others in order to learn how to garden and do chores and the like. Once he learns the proper herbs and flowers for it, he'll start making his own teas because he enjoys tea.
Habits/physical: Stress eats. When stressed or feeling as though he doesn't have much control over something, he tends to overeat, in particular sweets. In canon, it was a result of his family situation being so strict that he was never allowed such things until he had a bit more freedom. As a result, he has a difficult time stopping himself from indulging, and can never decide on what he might like, and so tends to order everything to try and sample it all.
He can very easily gain weight if he is not careful. It isn't very nice, but he receives a good deal of body shaming from his seniors, who flat-out call him fat or overweight, confiscate his food or shame him. He is rather fit now and is probably the right weight for someone who is an idol at this time. But it can be a slippery slope for him and he would do well from having an active exercise routine or someone asking him to join them for such a thing. I am not sure that he has thought to thus far. Regardless, he has very round, soft baby cheeks. And he IS fit, but he's more soft than muscular. Mochi squish.
He can become single-minded at times when he gets into something to the exclusion of everything else. For instance, when building a dueling card deck, he became so absorbed in it that he wasn't eating or sleeping to the point that his parents took his cards away. He can get this way with any number of things, as long as he is interested or determined to do so.
Other than that he can get huffy or flustered rather easily and is a terrible liar. At least he doesn't like lying to begin with?
Also, he has cat features now. They have granted him Olympic-level strength/speed/endurance. He cannot hear or see any better than he was capable of before the change tho. While they move, his new limbs are merely cosmetic.
Specific centimeters someone's hair has grown in a month: It probably grows relatively quickly. At some point, he will need a trim.
Whether someone has had enough water: Probably stays hydrated well!
Whether someone has gained weight in the last few days: See above! Though unless someone in Bluebell is making a number of desserts or acquiring them for everyone, he likely hasn't had much of a chance yet? I don't even know how much they are getting or eating in a day, but with Rook around, I assume they aren't starving.
Probably snacks on blueberries a bunch and makes fruit trades.

Height (measurement): 179cm
Heartrate: Zero. Byleth doesn't have a heartbeat BUT he does have a (very weak compared to normal humans) pulse. This is because he was stillborn, and so a Crest Stone was implanted into his chest which parasitically bound to his heart and somehow??? pushes the blood around his body???? and it revived him bc smth smth Crest smth smth Nabatean-human hybrid handwavy nonsense bullshit. Anyway if Rubato can pick up on pulses and heartbeats then yeah. Zilch heartbeat for Byleth, and barely one for the pulse.
Quality of a person's footsteps: Veeeeeery light on his feet, has a natural stalking gait.
How a person breathes: His breathing rate is veeeeeeeery slow compared to a normal human.
Fingerprints: He always wears gloves. He doesn't like people touching his hands or anything like that.
Habits/schedule: Likes patrolling his assigned 'territory' (so the Lily barn perimeter) and doing chores. Likes training when not doing chores. Like fishing when not doing training OR chores. Strangely, despite liking a structure he doesn't really set a pattern. Travelling mercenary meant a flexible working pattern.
Habits/physical: He likes to stare. Like, if someone is talking to him, he'll stare at them unblinkingly, even if he doesn't say or respond. He's just reacting to the noise more than anything. Otherwise, he doesn't have habits, as such? No fidgeting or anything. He just stands really still and stare into the middle distance, which people tend to think is very weird or eerie.
Oh, but he does talk to himself a lot. Usually in a way that seems he expects a response... (this is because he's also possessed lol lmao)
The number of times someone has glanced at him: Byleth will stare into your soul he will not glance over. If he looks at you, he looks at you. So whenever Rubato is actively in his space or approaching him, Byleth will just lock onto him like a heat seeking missile and not look away until he leaves.
Specific centimeters someone's hair has grown in a month: Byleth will just chop his hair back to its usual length if it grows out, so Rubato can probably note how rough around the edges it looks???

Physical stuff:
- When he's in combat or just practicing in the suit there are a lot of little moments where Ananke will start to move and then the suit corrects the motion for aim/impact/maintaining balance. Not noticeable to most people, but Rook can catch onto that jerkiness
- Heartrate: Healthy. Also because of the way it's described in canon, I am pretty sure the Scarab is running a secondary circulation system through him for [alien science reasons]. It's not a heart but it also sounds ????fine???? Fine and kind of like an electric motor.
- Breathing: Healthy. There are no extra bonus lungs.
- Has not been sleeping great and probably always looks at least a little tired
- Diet: Lily is making sure this boy eats right
- Footsteps:
---SOMETIMES a little heavy footed, careless. Like a regular teen putting zero thought into walking, just kinda doing.
---But if any part of the suit is activated and he's not actively running or fighting something, his footsteps get real quiet. The Scarab prefers stealth thx
BEHAVIOR:
- Straight up talks to "thin air" when he thinks no one's paying attention. (This will change once he gets a drone for the Scarab to trundle around in he can talk to the drone instead)
- While he's great at focusing on whatever he's doing/whoever he's talking to, any time I stick a [ ... ] in the middle of a tag is when the Scarab has said something and I feel like Rook could notice his attention shifting in those moments
- Occasionally wanders around at night and practices with the Scarab suit in the meadow.
- Very careful around nature in general, out of deference to both Perci and the Scarab. Ananke himself doesn't get why it's so important but he'll be cool about it for his friends
